Meloneras is one of the most popular towns in Gran Canaria, where most of the 4-5 star hotels are located. Along the coastline it is wonderful to walk and in the evening a beautiful sunset pleases the eye. You can walk from Faro de Maspalomas which is the lighthouse in Maspalomas to Meloneras. There is a large shopping center in the area and a large selection of good restaurants.
