This superior first class hotel was built in 1864 as a simplified gothic design in keeping with the local University Museum and Union Debating Society. It is ideally situated for visitors to the area and has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and hospitable service. All rooms have radio, colour TV, telephone and central heating. The hotel has 1 restaurant, the 'Restaurant and Oyster Bar' and the 'Morse' Cocktail bar. The hotel residents are welcome to use the thermal suite free of charge from 25th of May 2018 onwards.
